The narrator at the beginning and end of the featured cartoon is not credited anywhere but I think it sounds like Dick Van Dyke.

It is so stupid to watch this generation putting down "The Star Wars Holiday Special".
They weren't there watching Star Wars beginning to take over the world.
They can't report on a place and time they haven't been.
And as for my generation that puts it down...
They're just trying to be cool because it's cool to put my very generation down.
It wasn't made to win oscars or made for sticklers approval.
It was made to say "look at Star Wars taking over the world, isn't this fun!
And yes it sure was!!!
